The Space is a social enterprise facility that provides space to businesses, community groups and organisations for training, conferences, seminars, workshops, presentations, launches, exhibitions and more. Our clients include local councils, local business from SMEs to large national and multi-national corporations, local and national charities and third sector organisations etc.
The Space was developed and is owned and operated by Proclaimers: a local church. When developing a place for us to use for our Sunday events, we wanted to make sure that the spaces were fully utilised during the week as well. Consequently, we designed a series of flexible spaces that we felt would also be useful to other organisations. The Space is our brand that helps us invest back into our local community and be of benefit to local and national businesses.
A Social Enterprise Facility. We are passionate about changing our community for the better, by reinvesting our profits into making positive social change in Norwich, and beyond.

Participating in apprenticeship and return to work schemes
We use the facility as an opportunity to help people gain and develop skills for work and gain experience in a professional environment. We are passionate about doing our bit to help tackle youth unemployment.

Contributing to and supporting local and global charities
Our profits are reinvested into supporting charitable organisations such as Love Norwich, A21 and Compassion, who all work to improve the lives of others in meaningful ways.

Offering discounts to charities and statutory bodies
We want to play our part in supporting vital local services by offering discounted room hire rates to charities and statutory bodies. This allows them to use more of their resources to fund the valuable work they do for our community.
